Literacy is Life Awards 2011

Each year This City Reads! gives partners an opportunity to honor a staff member, client or volunteer who has quietly gone above and beyond in their efforts to improve the literacy skills of themselves or others in our community.

Nominations are due January 20, 2012.

Please use this form to nominate those you know who should receive this special recognition.

Community Partners believe that:

An information-based economy requires everyone to read.

First you learn to read, then you read to learn.

This City Reads! is a community alliance of organizations to champion and leverage the power of reading to promote the future success of families, individuals, and businesses in Greater Akron/Summit County.

Engage the community;

Champion the collaborative model;
